The way it works is you have two teams, and one of them will win the game. If the gambling site receives equal wagers on each of the opponents, and the gamblers lay an extra 10% for the opportunity to make a wager, it is irrelevant who wins. The sports book pays the winners with the money lost by the other side, and the book keeps the juice, netting them 10% of the action.
